Our cattle are raised naturally and not in a feed lot. It's a pretty straight forward process. We raise and breed some of the best Black Angus and give them access to natural and sustainable feed. We try our best to raise them as natural as possible. The cattle are primarily fed grass during the warm months and a mix of grass and hay during the cold months. From time to time they are fed some grain but never as a primary source of nutrition. The grain is used as more of a treat for them.
For almost 200 years our family has farmed this part of East Tennessee. With the current generation we hope to bring modern techniques and methods to the farm while keeping true to our heritage.
